menstrual blood instead of absorbing it like pads or tampons.

How long can I wear a menstrual cup?

Can I sleep with a menstrual cup in?

No, when inserted correctly you shouldn’t feel a thing!

Can teenagers use menstrual cups?

Is it normal to struggle at first?

Can I use backup protection?

How do I clean my menstrual cup?
  • Rinse with water when emptying
  • Wash with mild, unscented soap
  • Boil for 5 minutes between cycles
How do I store my cup?

Store in a breathable cotton bag - don't go out and buy one because your Pachamama Menstrual cups comes with one!

Why does my cup smell?

Your cup might smells because of residue buildup. Boil it or soak with bicarbonate soda! See the FAQ 'How do I clean my menstrual cup'.

Can I use scented soap?

No! It can damage the silicone and irritate your body. Use unscented soap, or boil your cup to clean it between cycles.

Orders and refunds

Refund policy

Because menstrual cups are intimate hygiene products, we’re unable to offer refunds or returns once a cup has been opened or used. This policy helps protect the health and safety of all our customers.

If your cup arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us and we’ll make it right. At Pachamama, we’re always happy to help with sizing advice, troubleshooting, or product questions so you can feel confident in your choice.

How do I make changes to an order I’ve already placed?

Please take care when ordering your menstrual cup! If you change your mind immediately email pachamamacup@gmail.com and if we have not sent it off to you, and providing we have the product you want to change your order to, then we can most likely help you out!

Can I exercise with a cup?

Yes. Cups are great for running, yoga, swimming, and gym workouts!

Can I swim with a menstrual cup?

Can I pee with a cup in?

Yes, this is because the cup sits in the vagina, not the urethra.

Can I have sex with a cup in?

Penetrative sex is not recommended with a standard cup.

Can cups cause infections?

Can I get toxic shock syndrome from a cup?

Can I use a cup with an IUD?

Usually yes, but break suction carefully and check with your doctor. It is not recommended to use a menstrual cup within 3 month of getting an IUD.

Can I use a cup if I have endometriosis or PCOS?

Often yes, but comfort varies person to person.
